Family planning enables couples to plan their children. This contributes to the families overall quest for self-sufficiency. We also work with teenagers, educating them on how to prevent teen pregnancies.
Services offered at the clinic consist of counseling on birth control methods, weight, blood pressure, HGB, VDRL, GCS, pap smear, pelvic exam, breast exam, and pregnancy testing.
We do NOT perform abortions.
The medical clinic is held every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of each month (except for Holidays). This clinic is for patients needing pap smears and for new patients. A method of birth control will be give at time of pap smear.
The clinic opens at 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. You must be here before 5:30 on the day of the clinic to receive services.
A supply clinic is held every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday of each month (except for Holidays) from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 for a supply revisit.
Costs for clinic services are based upon income and family size. We use a sliding fee scale issued by the Arkansas State Department of Health. Those patients who have a CURRENT Medicaid Card are NOT charged a fee.
All donations made to the Women's Wellness Clinic are greatly appreciated and help us continue to provide these services at an affordable price.
