You will be reimbursed
$35-$60 each month for each child you care for full time.
This is based on two meals and one snack per child.
Tier I rate is determined by the location of the home, census data of the
area, income of the day care provider, or the income of the parent. To
qualify for Tier 1:
The day care home has to be in a elementary
school district that has 509% or more of free and reduced meals served to
the children.
The day care home has to be in an area that
is determined by census data to be low income.
The day care provider or parent income is at
or below 185% of the Federal income poverty guidelines.
If you do not meet any of the above requirements you would be reimbursed at
the Tier II rate.
